Clean Ideas, Bright Futures: Spring Conference Wrap
MLA President Frank D'Annunzio once again made a sparkling entrance at this year’s Spring Conference, kicking things off in true celebratory style with a dramatic champagne sabering at the opening dinner at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples. With a swift swing and a pop of bubbly, Frank proved once again that the art of the saber is alive and well—has a new official MLA tradition been made?
MLA was thrilled to welcome a strong turnout at the Spring Conference, with 90 members in attendance—including a warm welcome to our newest members: ALL Laundry Service, Airwallet, Cents and Midwestern Laundries, Inc. Their fresh perspectives and energy made a great addition to an already dynamic crowd!
On Monday morning, Marc Emmer, President of Optimize Inc.—a strategic planning consultancy—led a dynamic workshop focused on sharpening growth strategies, refining market positioning, and rethinking value propositions. He challenged participants to strike the right balance between diversification and focus, all while staying one step ahead of the competition.
On Tuesday, MLA conducted a round table session where members were able to connect, exchange ideas, and explore the latest opportunities and challenges in the laundry industry. Thank you to the round table planning committee – Scott Scarpato, Jr, Frank P. D'Annunzio, Ashley Erichsen and Danielle DeMarsh!
On Tuesday evening, attendees set sail in style aboard the elegant Naples Princess, cruising through the sparkling waters of Naples Bay. With stunning views of opulent Port Royal estates and the warm glow of a Florida sunset on the horizon, the evening offered a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and unforgettable coastal beauty. Whether soaking in the scenery or making new connections, it was a night to remember.
Thank you to Airwallet, Alliance Laundry Systems, Cents, ESD/Greenwald KioSoft Technologies and Setomatic Systems for sponsoring our Allied Member Hosted Dinner on the Naples Princess!
